His mercies and kindness are new every morning. We attest that this is real, the goodness of our God is renewed day by day and it has been like this for the Word of Life ministry.
A Period of Growth and Support for Youth Ministry
God in the month of May and June has allowed us to continue with the youth ministry in churches and we have been able to support the leaders in their spiritual growth but also to be with them every weekend and see the work of God grow in each church. God is giving us the opportunity to have meetings with new pastors who are interested in the work of Bible Clubs, and we pray to God to give us wisdom to serve new churches.
A Blessed Visit: Students from the Bible Institute of Mexico
We received a visit this July from students from the Bible Institute in Mexico and it was a blessing to work with them because they were very willing to serve, to influence the Salvadoran youth and passionate about reaching more people with the precious message of Jesus. We had the opportunity to go with them to the western part of the country and had a beautiful weekend in Ahuachapán with a church that is a very good friend of the ministry and it was two days of evangelism and also sharing with the youth of the church and neighboring churches that attended a youth meeting, without a doubt a very blessed time with the youth, but also with the brothers who were a great blessing and example.
God gave us the opportunity to preach the gospel with filters of hope and to continue bringing light to these homes, but also to supply a very important resource such as the filter so that they have healthy water to drink. So we were doing all week, but already in the area near the camp, we were in the beach called San Diego and there we were able to be working with the Baptist Church in the area and it was a very good week where we preached the gospel, visited families in need of Christ, but we also had activities every afternoon in the church. A very good week of challenges, learning and seeing the goodness and mercy of God every day.
Next Challenge: The “Fusion” Mission Trip to Costa Rica
Now we are preparing for what our Fusión trip will be. Every year we do a week of evangelism with kids from different churches where the objective is that they live their missionary experience, but this year we decided to do it differently and it has been a very special challenge that has generated that we all take steps of faith because the trip will be in Costa Rica supporting the ministry of a pastor friend there.
We ask you to be praying that God will watch over us, protect us, continue to provide for the expenses and use all of us who will be going. For many (the majority) it will be their first time out of the country experiencing a mission trip. We are very encouraged and excited about what God has in store for the future. There will be 22 of us traveling so we leave this special prayer request for you.
Prayer Motives
- For the spiritual growth of the members of the ministry every day.
- For the relationships with the churches that God will continue to strengthen it and give more churches to join in the work together.
- Wisdom for the doors that will open or are opening today.
- Provision each month for the expenses of our camp and sustenance of each missionary family.
- For more workers in his harvest with the heart in the work of God and passion for souls and discipleship.
